Every beverage container must be registered with BCMB
Registration required before AGLC will list product
Process takes up to 15 business days
Clear product images showing all required elements
Front and back images (≤10MB total, .jpg/.png/.gif)
Must show: Brand, Flavour, Size, Material, Ingredients, UPC
If plastic: recycling symbol with resin identifier
Supplementary documentation and standards
English ingredient list (additional label if needed)
Container from BCMB Approved Materials List
Canadian standards including bilingual labelling
BCMB has up to 15 business days to approve a submission.
Delays occur if images are missing, blurry, or incomplete. Without BCMB registration, AGLC will not list or sell the product in Alberta.
